Most of today's mobile phones are equipped with a camera. The camera is one of the signs that a device is a modern handset. However, there is a also a demand for cell phones that do not come with a camera.

Let's look at Sprint phones without cameras. This carrier is one of the service providers who offer these phones. However, let us first look at handsets that come without cameras in general.

There are two categories of mobile phones that do not come with a camera. The first are basic handsets that are aimed towards users who want limited features and a cheap price. These users often do not find a camera a necessary feature or feel that a camera phone would be too expensive.

The other category consists of phone that are camera-less versions of modern phones. These devices are targeted towards users who work in large corporate office, a courthouse, or even a gym, where camera phones are not permitted.

Some work places do not allow camera phones because of the sensitive or privacy issues. For instance, some companies are concerned about security and corporate espionage, while courthouses need to ban pictures or recording video of court proceedings.

Now let's look at some of the Sprint phones without cameras that are being offered in the market.
